Callum founded CAIRO after a career as a professional Muay Thai fighter. He didn't set out to open another gym - he set out to change the way coaching is done.

Patient, methodical, and genuinely invested in every client. Whether you've never trained a day in your life or you're preparing to compete - Callum meets you where you are, and builds from there.

Absolutely. Most clients start with no prior experience. Sessions begin exactly where you are - there is no expectation, no judgement, and no pressure. Our coaches meet you where you are and build from there.
Use the booking system on our contact page, send a message, or call directly. All new clients start with a brief conversation - we want to understand your goals before your first session so we can make it count.
Yes. CAIRO actively supports people with disabilities, injuries, and specific health conditions. If we reach the limits of what we can help with, we refer you to the right professional - even if that means someone else.
1-to-1 adult sessions: £60/hour or £30 for 30 minutes. Juniors (under 13): £40/hour or £25 for 30 minutes. Pair sessions, group sessions, and home training also available - see the full pricing page for all rates and block booking discounts.
Partner gyms in Kings Langley and Hoddesdon, with St Albans coming soon. Home training is also available across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire - we come to you.
Just comfortable training clothes and clean footwear. CAIRO provides all specialist equipment - gloves, pads, everything. You don't need to buy anything before your first session.
Yes. For every 10 sessions or workshop booked, CAIRO donates one session to partner charities supporting children with special needs, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable communities.
Yes. Junior sessions (under 13) are available for both Boxing and Muay Thai at our Kings Langley and Hoddesdon gyms. Sessions are fully age-appropriate - building confidence, coordination, and discipline safely. No contact until the child is ready.
Not with proper coaching. Beginners never spar or take contact until they are comfortable and ready. CAIRO training is pressure-free and technique-led - the environment is safe and supportive from day one.
Most clients notice meaningful changes in fitness and confidence within 4 to 6 weeks of consistent training. Physical changes follow. The timeline depends on your starting point, frequency, and goals - we are honest about this from the first conversation.
Yes. CAIRO offers home-based training across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Sessions are available at your home, garden, or local outdoor space. A travel surcharge may apply depending on distance from St Albans - confirm when booking.
Boxing uses fists only. Muay Thai is the art of eight limbs - fists, elbows, knees, and shins - and includes clinch work. Both are excellent for fitness, discipline, and self-defence. Not sure which suits you? Just ask.
For most clients, 1 to 2 sessions per week produces consistent, sustainable progress. More is not always better - recovery matters. We tailor recommendations to your goals, schedule, and life outside training.
